The European Students Research Conference for Risk, Safety and Security took place online on 22 November 2024. More than 170 people attended ESRC 2024 to learn more about safety and security. Last year there was also a call for posters, where we invited students and graduates to present their research on safety and security in the form of scientific posters.
We had a remarkable programme and were delighted to have the Deputy Head of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in Europe and Central Asia, Sebastien Penzini, join us at the conference with a video message.
You can watch the ESRC 2024 in full length here ESRC 2024
Thanks to the active support of the jury members, the good cooperation with the universities, the submitted posters and the great contributions of the finalists, we were able to successfully organise the second conference.
