Call for Posters
Take the opportunity to present your research and its impact on science and practise. Exchange ideas with experts, make valuable contacts and interact with professionals and researchers from around the world in the fields of risk, safety and security.
Admission requirements & submission conditions
- Only completed projects can be submitted.
- Bachelor's and Master's theses dealing with risk, safety or security are eligible.
- Posters must be submitted in English as a PDF file.
- Closing date: 19 September 2025.
- Submissions can be made via your University.
- Send your registration form and poster to Bram Lembrechts (bram.lembrechts@vives.be) or to the contact person nominated by your University.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 24 October 2025.
Poster evaluation & prize for the best poster
All submitted posters will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The accepted posters will be displayed in a virtual exhibition.
Criteria for the evaluation:
- Design: 30 points
- Originality, methodological quality and results: 70 points
Six posters will be selected as finalists — three in the field of safety and three in the field of risk. If you are shortlisted, you will present your work at the online conference on Thursday 13 November 2025.
Conference presentation & awards
Finalists will give a 15-minute presentation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
A Best Poster Award will be given for the most outstanding paper in each session.
